The U.K. is reviewing all existing export licenses to Israel’s military to make sure they don’t involve the supply of equipment that could be used for domestic repression or could fuel conflict, the government said on Monday.

The Department of Business, Innovation, and Skills confirmed the licenses were now being reviewed on a case-by-case basis against “strict criteria.”

“We will not issue a licence if there is a clear risk that the equipment might be used for internal repression, or if there is a clear risk that it would provoke or prolong conflict,” a spokesman said in a statement. […]
