The General Staff has stated that an SA-2 missile system deployed within Syria harassed a Turkish F-16 fighter jet, putting the jet under radar lock for about four seconds over the southern province of Hatay at 5:48 p.m. on Saturday.

Releasing a written statement on the issue on Sunday, the General Staff said a Turkish F-16 jet that took off from the İncirlik military base in Adana province to patrol was harassed by the Syrian missile system at an altitude of 21,000 feet.
