Iraqi officials say separate attacks in the capital have killed at least 10 people.
Police say the deadliest attack Wednesday was carried out by a suicide car bomber who struck a police checkpoint in Baghdad’s northern Kazimiyah district, killing three policemen and three civilians. They said 18 others were wounded in the attack.
In Baghdad’s western suburb of Abu Ghraib, a bomb went off in a commercial area, killing two civilians and wounding three others.
