Following successful qualification trials of the Turkish Land Forces Command (TLFC) Korkut twin 35 mm self-propelled anti-aircraft gun (SPAAG) system a production order for an undisclosed number of systems has been placed with Aselsan.

While the qualification trials were carried out with two Korkut twin 35 mm SPAAGs and one command-and-control (C2) system, the TLFC will deploy it with three SPAAGs for every C2 system.

While Aselsan is the prime contractor, FNSS Savunma Sistemleri – a joint venture owned 51% by Nurol Holding of Turkey and 49% by BAE Systems – is responsible for the Armoured Combat Vehicle 30 (ACV-30) platform, on which the system is mounted, while Makina ve Kimya Endustrisi Kurumu (MKEK: Mechanical and Chemical Industries Corporation) provides the weapons and ammunition.
