Turkish Special Forces have arrived in Somali capital in Mogadishu a head of President Raccip Tayyip Erdogan visit in the country. Media outlets linked to Ankara have confirmed the report saying they will provide security to President Erdogan during his state visit to Somalia.

Former Turkish Prime Minister now President is expected in Somalia later this week. He visited Somalia in august 2011 becoming the first ever high profile international leader to visits Somalia since the breakout of the civil war.

Turkish government is playing an integral role in the reconstruction of Somalia. Turkish companies have awarded contracts to rebuild airports, port and other key economic institutions.
