The Lebanese Army has received a shipment of anti-tank missiles from the U.S. government, the military said in a statement Monday.
The statement said that the shipment included an untold number of BGM-71 TOW anti-tank missiles and their launch pads. They were received at Beirut airport late Sunday.
The heavy weapon, first produced in 1970, is renowned for its effectiveness.
