Kuwait has today signed three Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) with the French government for the supply of helicopters, missiles, light armored vehicles and fast patrol boats worth about €2 5 billion, relaunching a strategic partnership which had faded in recent years.

The biggest of the agreements signed in Paris today by Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al Ahmad Al Sabah and French Prime Minister Manuel Valls covers the supply of 24 Airbus EC725 Caracal medium helicopters, with an option on six additional helicopters. Including their weapons, this agreement is valued at about €1 billion.
