The Israeli military says its aircraft struck militant targets in the Gaza Strip hours after Palestinians there fired rockets at Israel.
The military said it targeted “terror sites” early Friday in retaliation for rocket attacks and sniper fire from Gaza aimed at Israel that caused no injuries.
Gaza security officials said seven targets were hit in three locations, including training sites used by the ruling Hamas militant group. They said four Hamas members and two others were injured. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the press.
