Iraq will soon deploy its recently acquired Mil Mi-28NE ‘Havoc’ attack helicopters in the fight against the Islamic State, the defence ministry announced in late October.

With the first examples having arrived in-country at the end of August, the Iraqi Army has been preparing them for their operational debut, now set for the coming days.
