The project manager, Seyed Mohammad Mavaei, said the aircraft, developed by Iranian students and academics from Kermanshah University of Technology in Western Iran, has an exceptional degree of autonomy and flight endurance.


Earlier this month, Lieutenant Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Brigadier General Hossein Salami announced that Iran has produced a new UAV that can fly 24 hours non-stop.


The commander added that Iran’s new unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) Shahed 129 enjoys a very long flight time and a high Maximum Operating Altitude.
