A new group of Kurdish peshmerga fighters entered the Syrian border town of Kobani from Turkey late on Tuesday to support fellow Kurdish fighters battling the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
The 150 Kurdish fighters arrived in Turkey on Tuesday and landed at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport. The group later crossed to Kobani through the Mürşitpınar border crossing under tight security, reports said.
