Satellite imagery from 20 April 2013 acquired by Digital Globe shows twelve Northrop F-5E/F fighters parked on the main operations apron at Sheik Isa Air Base in Bahrain probably getting ready for CENTCOM Exercise Eagle Resolve. US Aircraft also captured on 20 April include four P-3 Orion, already based in Bahrain since 2010, as well as one C-130. Bahrain’s other aircraft deployed at the airbase include the F-16C/D, eleven of which were observed parked in front of their aircraft shelters at their respective dispersal areas north and south of the airfield.
