A shootout erupted Friday in the eastern Beqaa town of Labwe between Hezbollah members and Lebanese army troops, leading to a number of injuries.

The armed clash in the Shiite-populated town involved soldiers in the motorcade of Lebanese army intelligence’s Beqaa chief, Brigadier General Abul Salam Samhat, NOW’s correspondent reported.
